This year, our team looked forward to connecting our community with our annual TechXplosion conference reintroduction. With the ongoing concerns around COVID-19 and restrictions on our manufacturers’ travel, we’ve made the difficult decision to postpone the TechXplosion 2020 conference.
TechXplosion is an event that has a rich heritage and high standard with our family here at TRG. We knew that we might encounter some issues due to the pandemic but wanted to keep our high standards for this event. Over the past two weeks, we’ve had numerous vendors communicate that they were under travel restrictions and could not come to be apart of the conference. We explored options of reformatting the event without the trade show portion, but it didn’t feel right to have TechXplosion without our vendors and the many church technical workers who can not currently travel.
We are committed to planning a TechXplosion conference for this coming year and have already started coordinating dates. We hope to send out details on the 2021 conference as soon as they become available. For those who have already purchased tickets, a refund was issued to your bank. If you have further questions, please give our office a call or drop your account representative an email.
In place of the two-day conference on October 2nd and 3rd, we have planned to have a scaled-back day of training sessions with a few of our favorite manufacturers. On October 3rd at Starkey Road Baptist, we welcome our local church families to this free event for hands-on training with several industry professionals. The event will be a one-day experience, strictly containing training sessions. We will also have a few manufacturers, including Allen & Heath and Sennheiser, on-site to help with these sessions by providing hands-on training. We will be communicating schedules and times within the next week.
Thank you for your understanding, and we look forward to seeing our audio-visual community at TechXplosion 2021!
